Class Description:
Inspired by the Cabinets of Curiosity of past centuries, the Box of Wonders is modeled after the traditional Tower Box, but enlarged to display any number of wonderful objects or seasonal treasures, collections of all kinds and eclectic diverse delights. The four walls contain a variety of shelves, drawers, boxes, and nooks. This is a basic structure but invites individual creativity as well. It is constructed of high quality bookboard, covered with bookcloth, Chiyogami and other strong and beautiful handmade papers. I think of this box as a family heirloom, filled with treasures of all kinds.

Class Kits: Class materials kits will be sent by the instructor. Shipping and kit costs are included in the class price.*

Tools & Supplies: All tools and some supplies to be provided by registrant. Guidance will be offered in SDBA’s timely Welcome Letter or the teacher’s PDFs.

Class Recordings: Recordings will be available for two months following each class, for registered students only.
