Class Description:
The Exploding Picture Box is three dimensional “book” structure made from paper, that at first glance, looks like a square box with a lid. When the lid is lifted, the square unfolds into a delightful form with multiple layers. As participants learn to make “The Exploding Picture Box”, they will have the opportunity to use a variety of creative mediums to embellish the “pages”. Demonstrated techniques to incorporate include the addition of pockets, collage, and cut paper designs. Participants will have the opportunity to use their own special photos, memorabilia, and other paper items in the creation of their picture boxes. Watch your creativity explode as you explore the possibilities of this versatile book form! This workshop is suitable for all levels, and beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend!
Tools and Supplies: Registrants are responsible for providing their own class tools and supplies, details of which will be sent in the SDBA Welcome Letter.
Class Recordings: Recordings will be available for one month following the last class in this series, for registered students only.
